OPI Donates ReVisor® to Benefit the Pediatric Cancer Foundation
Obsessive Products, Inc., (OPI) announces the donation of 400 ReVisor®, a sun protection accessory, for the Pediatric Cancer Foundation’s major fundraising event, the Mercury Grand Slam Invitational.

Tampa, FL (PR.com) – Obsessive Products, Inc. (OPI) announces the donation of the ReVisor® to the Pediatric Cancer Foundation in support of the non-profit’s major fund raising event, the Mercury Grand Slam Invitational, hosted by Wade Boggs. Three hundred celebrities, professional guides, and participating anglers on over 60 boats will compete in a catch and release fishing tournament November 11^th and 12^th. Each angler will receive the ReVisor® to promote sun protection and its importance in the fight against skin cancer, the most common form of cancer diagnosed in the US today.
Designed to add sun protection to one’s ears and neck while wearing a ball cap, the ReVisor® gives anglers an alternative to the traditional drape or guide hat by offering UPF 50+ protection. Easily attachable to one’s favorite cap, the ReVisor® features an adjustable strap and Velcro tab to provide a comfortable and secure fit. When one’s time in the sun is over, the ReVisor® is easy to take off and stow away.
Children fighting cancer and their siblings will have an opportunity to fish with celebrities and professional guides the day before the tournament at Steve Yerrid’s Kid’s Fishing Derby on the pier of the Renaissance Vinoy Resort in St. Petersburg, FL. The children will enjoy fishing with the pros and meeting famous athletes from all the major US sports leagues. The participants will also be given the ReVisor® for the sun protection and cooling benefits of the product.
OPI is proud to participate in such a worthy cause. The proceeds raised by the Pediatric Cancer Foundation supports research programs looking for a cure of cancers that effect children. “Our support of the foundation is an easy decision to make,” says OPI President, Brett Snyder. He adds, “Cancer is never an easy fight and to have to take on that battle as child, well, we simply can not do enough.” Last year over $1 million was raised from tournament proceeds. The tournament features and in-shore and off-shore division, the Kid’s Fishing Derby, and the Fishermen’s Ball on the Friday night of the tournament.

OPI Launches ReVisor® at Fly Fishing Retailer Show

Obsessive Products, Inc., (OPI) launched the newest version of its ReVisor®, a sun protection accessory, at fly fishing’s major retail trade expo, Fly Fishing Retailer, in Denver Colorado.

Tampa, FL (PR.com) – Obsessive Products, Inc. (OPI) announces the national launch of the ReVisor® at the August 24^th-26^th Fly Fishing Retailer Expo in Denver Co. Designed to add sun protection to one’s ears and neck while wearing a ball cap, the ReVisor® gives anglers an alternative to the traditional drape or guide hat by offering UPF 50+ protection. The ReVisor® will retail for $19.95.

The fly fisherman often treks long distances to reach a targeted stream or hot spot. Lightweight, dependable and utilitarian tackle and gear is important to the avid fly fisherman. The ReVisor® not only provides UPF 50+ sun protection but is easily attached and removed from one’s baseball style cap. At 2.6 ounces, it is light enough to wear all day. And if a rain shower quickly rolls in, the ReVisor® even diverts water on to the shoulders and away from one’s collar keeping the angler dry while wearing his rain gear.

The ReVisor® has been sold in Central Florida for over two years. Salt water anglers have been enjoying the convenient sun protection product.
